TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS
The Red Light on the Phone Adaptor blinks continually
- Take the phone off the hook.
- The red button on the top of the Phone Adaptor will illuminate.
- Be prepared to write down the IP Address! Press the illuminated red Function button
and then dial 80# on your phone.
- If you do not get an IP Address, then check all of your cables and make sure that
you have internet access.
There is no dial tone
- Check to make sure the phone is plugged into phone1 port.
- Check to make sure Ethernet link light on the back of the Phone Adaptor is active.
- Verify the Phone Adaptor has an IP Address by taking the phone off the hook and
pressing the illuminated red button and then dial 80# on your phone.
- If you do not get an IP Address, then check all of your cables and make sure that
you have internet access.
My high speed Internet connection uses a USB port, not an Ethernet port.
You will need to switch your high-speed Internet connection from USB to Ethernet in order
to use our service. You must purchase a router. If your computer does not have an Ethernet
card, you can purchase a USB to Ethernet Converter to connect your computer to the router,
and ultimately the Internet.
I'm hearing a fast busy signal.
While dialing the number make sure you are dialing the correct number with country code,
area code, prefix and number.
My phone does not ring
- Check to make sure the phone is plugged into phone1 port.
- Make sure the ringer on your phone is set to the proper volume.
