TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

The Red Light on the Phone Adaptor blinks continually

  1. Take the phone off the hook.
  2. The red button on the top of the Phone Adaptor will illuminate.
  3. Be prepared to write down the IP Address! Press the illuminated red Function button
    and then dial 80# on your phone.
  4. If you do not get an IP Address, then check all of your cables and make sure that
    you have internet access.

There is no dial tone

  1. Check to make sure the phone is plugged into phone1 port.
  2. Check to make sure Ethernet link light on the back of the Phone Adaptor is active.
  3. Verify the Phone Adaptor has an IP Address by taking the phone off the hook and
    pressing the illuminated red button and then dial 80# on your phone.
  4. If you do not get an IP Address, then check all of your cables and make sure that
    you have internet access.

My high speed Internet connection uses a USB port, not an Ethernet port.

You will need to switch your high-speed Internet connection from USB to Ethernet in order
to use our service. You must purchase a router. If your computer does not have an Ethernet
card, you can purchase a USB to Ethernet Converter to connect your computer to the router,
and ultimately the Internet.

I'm hearing a fast busy signal.

While dialing the number make sure you are dialing the correct number with country code,
area code, prefix and number.

My phone does not ring

  1. Check to make sure the phone is plugged into phone1 port.
  2. Make sure the ringer on your phone is set to the proper volume.
